LADY ALMA has collaborated with numerous prominent DJ’s and song producers including King Britt (“Last Night A DJ Saved My Life”), award-winning DJ Terry Hunter (Beyonce, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Mary J. Blige, Estelle, Kanye West, and Chaka Khan), David Harness (Mary J Blige, Luther Vandross, Alicia Keys, Aretha Franklin and the song that received over 40 plus million views on FB, “Let It Fall”) DJ Spinna (Stevie Wonder, Mary J Blige, Roy Ayers and the legendary Donald Byrd), producer extraordinaire Osunlade (Vivian Green, Eric Benet, Eric Roberson) and now legendary Marley Marl.

Growth comes from inspiration, but to be inspired, you have to first inspire yourself” she adds.

The 2023 kiss to fans of “A Philly Special Christmas” was the set arrival of the third, final vinyl pressing of the charitable 2022 album, notably rocked by are warding cover of “Merry Christmas Baby” that teamed LADY ALMA with multi-talented Philadelphia Eagles player Jordan Mailata. The pressing sold out in two minutes, hitting Billboard’s Compilation Chart at #1 and Top 10 Album Sales.

The LADY ALMA and The Rainmakers favorite “Let It Fall” made a resurgence in 2018, when social media sharing of a video capturing an enthralled fan Nhlaka Nhliriz lip-synching and dancing to it in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa made the song go viral, garnering over 40 million Facebook views alone. Then, another video – this one a clip of legendary choreographer Toni Basil dancing to LADY ALMA’s “It’s House Music” went viral, nabbing over 5 million views on Twitter and gaining traction on Network TV. The demand for LADY ALMA and her irresistible groove went off the charts soon afterward, reminding attentive house music heads about the velvety voice in their midst. It wasn’t long before her Darryl James-produced single “Glory & Honor” was released, followed by “A Time and A Place” with DJ Ralf GUM, on GOGO Music. At that same time LADY ALMA was recognized by Traxsource among the “Best of 2018,” listed in its “2 Top 10s”, “16 Top 100 Spins” and “60 Features in DJ Top 10 Charts,” to name a few.

In the spring and summer of 2019, vivacious LADY ALMA’s vocals were featured on Low Steppa’s “Make You Move” which reached #1 on Traxsource, as well as several releases, including “Twilight” her long-awaited anthology LP with Mark de Clive-Lowe via Mashibeats that lent to the seasonal heat and appearances on “Just Leave It” from Dego’s third LP, Too Much, along with Valvin “V” Roane’s “Just Call”. DJ Spinna’s super spirited Galactic Soul remix of “Let It Fall” set streets ablaze that fall, following up a still buzzed-about performance at the 29th annual Chosen Few Picnic & House Music Festival in Chicago.

Illustrious producer Rob Paine, her long-standing musical brother-in-arms, features LADY ALMA on “Love Right Now”, his saucy grind with Joey Crawford on Worship Recordings, its mix blessed by Pete Moss. Helping kickoff February 2023 with more flavor than a spice store, “Love Right Now” shows their enduring allure, following up the 2022 re-issue of the Frequent Fliers remix spotlighting LADY ALMA, “This Is The Life”, as well as the 2020 mellow dance groove, “All the Way Far Away”, their BBE Music collaboration co-produced by David Marston and boosted via remixes by Toribio & Troop 493.
